Evening all. Not posted on here for many a year so unsure if this post will be allowed.
I'm a Notts fan and S/T holder of 35 years and I've brought my Boys 19 & 16 up to follow suit.
Earlier this year my youngest son (Just turned 16) was diagnosed with a rare cancerous Sarcoma. He is currently undergoing an intensive treatment of chemotherapy at the QMC. Following this we have to go to Manchester for 6 weeks so he can have proton radiotherapy and then to Birmingham for removal of the mass. Not something any child should have to go through.
Last week we held a charity match at Arnold Town fc to raise much needed funds for the Te3nage cancer Trust and the Children's oncology ward E39 at the QMC. So far we've achieved to raise over £5,000.
We have a just giving page set up to help us reach our desired target of 7K. We've currently raised just over £1,500 on this but I would love it if we could hit 2K.
Now I know times are hard but if any Notts fans are in a position to spare a few pounds to help one of our own and help us reach our target we would be very grateful. This page will run until Saturday 7th September.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
