Wilson out for 10 matches - what's the point!

    https://www.newcastleworld.com/sport...update-4757544

With 5 days left of the window, the growing frustration among the fan base that we're signing a player from Palace that isn't exactly a player that will get bums off seats hearing the news this morning that Wilson is now gonna be out until after the international break is starting to annoy me.

I have long stopped seeing Wilson as a reliable option. A bonus if he is fit. Was hoping we could have sold him on for anything we could get, as much as I respect him when fit and firing and grateful for what he has done for us. The credit acquired for this is fast running out though. I am not reading anything from anyone who is flapping about the lack of signings. The right move will be made for the right player at the right time but I do think we need a CB immediately but not necessarily Geuhl or whatever the fk his name is.

Another one OT is surely the club could be doing more to raise commercial revenue, ie stadium sponsor etc etc?

I think we have, like many clubs, a couple of lines of dominoes ready to topple once a move is made by someone regarding transfers in and out and loans.
This means that there could be a flurry of activity between now and Friday, midnight or nothing depending on whether the dominoes fall.
I think most supporters would not like us to sign the wrong players or pay over the odds (even if we could) but they don’t behave this way on social media every day!!

It's ok, papers saying the ultra reliable, never injured Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be on his way here with Trippier going the other way.

    Sakes.

As Sclox says - he's not a reliable player anymore. Great to have when fit but we can't reply on that anymore.

Indeed Kal, that's swapping shyte for shyte.

I don't see Tripz leaving at this point.

We brought in Osula at least we have someone else to give Isak a bit of a rest.

    Silver lines eh!?!
