    On this day 22 years ago Jason

    Koumas signed for the Albion .
    His son looks a good player as well.

    Didn't Jason Koumas have some personal (emotional/mental/family?) problems that seriously affected his career? Hopefully that didn't affect his son's wellbeing because Jason Koumas would have been an all time great otherwise and his son looks pretty special too.

    Koumas lived a mile away from me.

    He spent most of his time in the local pub and at the bookies.

    Allegedly, he wasn’t the greatest of husbands or fathers and the house that was rented for him to live in was in a shocking state when he left and moved to Wigan.

    He was regarded as being a bit weird, very quiet and withdrawn and didn’t drive a car.

    A bit of an oddball who had massive personality on the pitch but none off it.

    That was the story locally although I never personally saw him in the years he lived just outside Hagley.
