    Shilen and Carlos.

This has the feeling of a very good partnership based on high levels of respect from both sides.

I know Carlos will be in demand as time goes on but I really do hope he’s the sort of bloke who really wants to create something over a long period.

Along the lines of what Dario Gradi did at Crewe over 25 years but minus the kiddie fiddling and nonce culture……obviously,

    Agree Mickd buddy.
Certainly the PR surrounding their relationship is very positive. We do indeed seem to have a ‘settled Club’ throughout…what a change from the recent scenarios !

Prando you are so right, the feeling at the club and fans has changed immensely. I did not doubt Shilen Patel or Carlos from the beginning. I believed there was a mutual respect and wish that they can make this club better. Carlos is dedicated and Mr Patel has a belief, he said so from the start what he wanted for the club and fans and I was on board.

    It's amazing really.
But if you value your word, then other like minded people are drawn to you. Both of these seem to value their word. A good mix.

I’d like to see the club offer Carlos a new long term deal with a promise of big rises if we go up.

I don’t see why we don’t offer him a five year deal now, regardless of how we do, we know the sort of bloke he is and we really aren’t going to find a better bloke.

Agree and especially with the first sentence - incentive deal for promotion! Squad so much better than last season so hats off!

I do think Corberan had a bit of a wobble at the start of the window, what with the outgoings and certain level of uncertainty over what could be done to refresh the squad, looking at what the owner has delivered he has to be happy, pressures on him now to continue to deliver results on the pitch.
