Romared Match Thoughts Crawley Town v Barnsley

The last time we played at Crawley we were hammered 6-1 in 2015 i believe .

I should know really I was there , took my now wife and we made a weekend of it and stayed in Brighton .

Probably should have stayed in Brighton on Saturday afternoon even though it was February .

This game has gone a bit under the radar due to events on and off the field this week.

Will Cosgrove and Watters be on fire to prevent (a probably unfit at the moment) Mr Humphrys taking a spot up front ?

Will Phillips be out to show he is undroppable now Dunn is available to play the same role ? Dunn was probably a No 1 Target for Clarke so he will be in the team sooner rather than later.

Let us hope competition spurs them on.

The unsettling and emotional week may produce some tired legs and I'm going for Crawley to take advantage 2-0.

What a half of dominating football, 3 goals, hit the post twice and 2 good saves from their keeper.
Phillips clearly showing the manager what he can do now he has competition.
Hope we don't sit back second half thinking it's job done. Hoping to see our new midfielder soon.

3-0 up and in complete control , kind of hard to judge this to be honest .

Are we looking really good or are Crawley as we've seen in our time at this level a newly promoted team up from League Two who are going to be totally out of their depth , think Forest Green from two season's ago .

A welcome three points but my word Crawley were shocking particularly the first half leaving big gaps all over the pitch for us to exploit.

Good win against a poor side, I think they’ll struggle this season. Pleased with a clean sheet plus they all played well which is nice to see, I particularly thought O’Keefe had a good game and I can see him nailing down that position.

We should really have had five or six to be honest and I reckon Crawley got off pretty lightly .

See if we can nail down the home form now .
