I'm very relieved if this is the last of our business
I was fearing a significant departure which hopefully won't now happen

I assume by creating a thread for this you never celebrated a Lee Hughes goal?

I know nothing about this guys personal life, but us taking the moral high ground as a club and fans after Hughes seems a bit much.

You’ve put that on 3 different threads now. It’s not that good a post.

Exactly, just a convenient stick to beat Montague with. Who's kidding who? If he scores loads of goals people will be singing his name.

A heavy drinking woman beater doesn't sound like a radar signing.

Signing a striker with talent who had previously underperformed due to bad off field habits, but has now got himself straightened out sounds exactly like a radar signing.

Shhhh! Can't you see he's taking Montague down one copy and paste at a time?

And here comes the apologists out of the woodwork, so intent on defending Montague no matter what they will even paint this signing as genius

    Flabbergasting
(and Hughes was over a decade ago, probably nobody's at the club from back then - fans change, times change).
