Phil Parkinson, manager of that poor little Welsh club, has apparently been moaning about Birmingham City's spending power, following their Monday night 3-1 defeat to the Blues!! You couldnt make it up!!

He really is a nasty piece of work
A walking parody
I actually watched the game and Birmingham simply murdered Wrexham for the majority of the game... Wrexham had maybe 5/10 minutes at the end when the Brum had the game wrapped up, it seriously was men vs boys... he is just bitter that the mighty Wrexham couldn't lay a glove on them.. Wrexham taking the lead just simply peed Birmingham off
The guy's an utter tw@t!!! Be interesting to see how deep the yanks pockets are in January.
I’m actually amazed he’s still there. Not in a footballing sense, because obviously two promotions in two seasons, even with the backing he’s got, is amazing and on the face of it, you’d be mad to get rid of anyone who has done that.
But given the wider context of Wrexham, I really thought they’d have got a bit more of a ‘name’ in by now and just taken the hit of sacking such a successful manager. They could really have ridden out sacking Parkinson with ease I think.
This is the thing with Wrexham if they want to push on they will no doubt need to have some heavy investment when they get to the championship. They built a league one ready team whilst in the National League and achieved the success of double promotion to league one so this will only take them so far if they are going the quick route up the leagues. The question is are they good enough at the moment to get to the championship this season and whilst like us they've had a good start do they have what it takes to last the duration? Will they need to invest again in January if they are going for a triple promotion?
If they beat Crawley on Saturday, I'm sure Parkinson will be fair and say "we only won because our budget is five times the size of theirs".
On a side note, Mr Mullin must have missed the pre-match meal:

Parkinson would have been p'd off with their performance because the owners along with Tom Brady and David Beckham were there. Apparently Brady has a minor share holding in BC.
