Over zealous yellow card referee Anthony Taylor has not been selected to referee a game
this weekend, after making history on yellow cards given out in one game.
Last weekend Taylor gave Chelsea FC & AFC Bournemouth players a record 14 yellow cards,
which beat the previous record of 12 yellows given in a football match.
But Taylor did not stop at 14 yellow cards on the pitch, he added 2 more yellow cards to his tally,
with Chelsea FC boss Enzo Maresco & a member of AFC Bournemouth football staff.
Anthony Taylor will act as the 4th official in 2 games this coming weekend, on Saturday 21st
September, in the game in between Southampton FC v Ipswich Town.
Then on Sunday 22nd September Brighton & Hove Albion v Nottingham Forest.
Anthony Taylor 14 yellow cards on the pitch & 2 yellow cards off it made history, & cost both clubs
Chelsea FC & AFC Bournemouth a fine of £25,000 each.
The previous record of 12 yellow cards in a match were both -
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Newcastle United in 2010
Chelsea FC v Tottenham Hotspur in 2016
