Pep on the verge of signing a 1 year contract extension.

    City fans are disappointed.

    They were expecting 2 yrs.

However, the fact that Pep's staying for another year is interesting for more than just the City fans and players.

The signing means that Pep is confident that all the charges against City are are corrupt as the APT rules and that City will be acquitted.

I noticed that the BBC - scumbag biased dross PR mouthpiece that it is - buried the announcement that Prem had postponed the 'Emergency Meeting' down below the irrelevances about women's football (no disrespect to the women's game but Prem News is headline news).

Just checked again this evening. They've removed the story completely.

Funny that. Considering when the 115 were announced it was HEADLINE news for days, every single one of their hack Jok-nalists waded in on the subject and the vitriol and outrage they whipped up such vehement fervour among the Fraudie fan base.

At this point I don't understand why the BBC still exists. It was brought in during the war to info the nation and used as a propaganda machine.

Now it's a bloated waste of money ran by peados and perverts. It's a waste of money and is outrageously biased.

    Shameful waste of money.

He said months ago when they announced the 115 charges that if City were guilty he's quit.

So, it's clear that City are gonna clean house and win this case from top to bottom against the Premier League.

Bare in mind this case has cost £40-50million EACH - a total of £80-100million in legal fees have gone out the door.

Thus more proof that the Prem board are absolutely incompetent jokers. 1/20 of their costs was contributed to the Prem by Newcastle United & 1/20 was Man Cities contribution.

So Essentially 1/20 of the cost of the case against City they are funding.

    Mental!

They talk about grass roots investment but then go ahead and squander £50million quid on a case they will probably lose. Let that sink in!

When they came out with the 115 I was baffled. My lawyer mate and I, who spend a lot of time at airport exec lounges together, chewed this over for hours.

It's almost like the Prem intentionally decided to make the case so complex that they would have absolutely no chase to win the case.

They could have picked 10-12 clear cut issues which they could prove without doubt City had breached the rules.

    Legally this is a minefield.

Also, the fact City have proven the rules to be unlawful around the APT it lends more weight to the 'witch hunt' narrative. Within the 115 I'm sure City's lawyers will argue that not only have the club not acted in a manner different to any of the other top clubs but also that the rules themselves are unlawful.

One thing is for sure, this won't reach conclusion any time soon. 115 indictments equal 115 defences. This thing will drag on well into 2025, I doubt we'll see a verdict before the end of the season.

That is, unless, the Prem capitulate and City win total vindication!

…or it could mean that City and the PL are meeting in a smoke filled room making a deal that if City don’t go ahead with APT legal proceedings then the PL will go lightly on the 115 charges….?!

Tell me if I’m wrong!!! But is this not a case of whether Man City have broken the rules or not, but rather a case of whether the rules are deemed to be legally binding?

As far as I can tell, Man City MAY have broken the rules set out by the Premier League and by which the other 19 clubs (mostly) have fallen within!

So rather than saying ‘we haven’t broken any rules’… they are saying ‘we have good lawyers and who can prove the rules don’t matter, so f*ck em?’

Whether we agree with the rules or not, the clubs sign to say they’ll follow them so surely there is an element of ‘good faith’ here that everyone will act accordingly!

By all means, challenge the legality of the rules, but they have still given themselves an unfair advantage by flouting them on these 115 charges?

So for me, if the rules are proven to be unenforceable, so be it, cancel and change them… but they have been signed up to in the meantime so any flouting of those rules should still be punishable surely?

    And!

What does this mean for UEFAs financial rules regarding eligibility to compete in their Continental competitions? Are these unfit for purpose too?

Genuinely asking here guys, as I am clueless 😆
