    Celtic v Aberdeen

This is it. The match thread to end all match threads.

Aberdeen take on Celtic in Glasgow on Saturday 19th October at 3pm (Scottish time).

This is what we have been waiting for. Thelin's first major test as manager. swaddon2's first major test as match thread creator. A game where boys become men, where legends are born and where warriors... warri.

I fancy the AFC to win a very tough game 1-0, Keskinen to get the winner and Mitov to create club, and indeed fitba history by saving FOUR penalties in one game. (They will blooter the other two over the bar).

I believe we could well give Scottish football a real boost and leave Celtic Park with 3 points.
    1-3 win

Hinna been so nervous for a game in years, I'm including the cup semi finals/final in that. Got a bad feeling we'll get horsed but would like to do what I can to help - maybe sacrifice a goat to the northern gods for their aid.

I think it's their pals across the city that are more into the goats.

I don’t think the sacrificing of goats is what they actually do to them. Most likely some different physical activity

The game will be almost 20 years to the day since Mackie, Pasquinelli and Stewart helped Aberdeen to a 3-2 win in Glasgow.

The very next game, we were humped 0-5 by the Huns, and that season we missed out on qualifying for Europe by two goals.

I'd would feel happier going into this game not on the back of a fantastic unbeaten run.

If the manky b@stards beat us, the press will only be too happy to put us back into our box.

What a statement it would be if we came away with our run still intact.

I still expect to lose. Common sense given how early on in the development of this team.

Yet, despite all the " easy " games, we just still seem to nick it through. So it could happen.

What I really don`t look forward to is the incessant bombardment of negative proaganda from the Glasgow press. Which will intensify if / when we lose.?

I`d be absolutely made up with a draw. Then lets go hammer the huns !! ( oh aye, and Yintited )

    Obviously biggest test so far.
Think we have the bottle to win this.
Swaddon will keep his run going as well.
2-1 the good guys. Clarkson and Nisbet.
