Bass - Unfair to rate him really. Nothing to do - 6

Macari - Little to do but looked more assured than recent games. Clean sheet - 7

Platt - Whatever came his way he dealt with ease. Strong and a real sense of danger. Maybe signing of the summer - 7

Bedeau - See Platt really. Got forward to help Martin down the left and did well in the build up to the goal - 7

Tsaroulla - Really grown into his role I. The last few games. A constant menace and showed strength, skill and vision throughout the game. Deserved MOTM - 8

Palmer - A reminder of what a good player he is. Controlled the game from start to finish. Great passing, short and long and broke up play with his instincts and positioning. Really helped having Abbott alongside himÂ….he even had a shot or two. Coincidence that was his best game in the absence of CrowleyÂ….or just fitness and weaker opposition? - 7.5

Abbott - Looks so much more comfortable in the middle, strange that. Really played his role in a good win. He can see and venture into good positions, that werenÂ’t always spotted - 7.5

Martin - Got into good positions and worked hard but clearly lacked confidence taking his man on. Cut inside and had one or two decent efforts. Would like to see him make it, but not sure yet - 6

Brown - Starting to see some of what he is capable of in affecting games. Some silky touches and link up play, including a beautiful pass to didzy in the first half. Best appearance so far by him, would love to see him get off the mark - 7

Didzy - A touch of class in everything he did and he popped up almost everywhere today. You can really see the difference in class between him and everyone else on the pitch. Deserved standing ovation, he must be knackered after this week. HeÂ’ll be disappointed not to have stuck one of his chances away - 8

Jatta - Snatched at a few efforts but scored the important goal with a lovely finish. Some good hold up play too, so important to us at the minute - 7.5

Gordon - Immediately did what Martin was unable to do and commit his defender into fouls and errorsÂ….though admittedly their RB was tired by that point. Looked strong - 6

Hinchy - I liked that Maynard gave him some minutes after subbing him early on Tuesday as it shows some good man management, but he didnÂ’t do anything to impress and gave the ball away in a dangerous position. IÂ’m desperate for him to do well but it isnÂ’t happening at the minute - 5.5
