    Midtjylland

I see Utd are being linked with Midtjylland who are a very decent Danish team with a well respected Academy

All these links to other (bigger) teams suggest we have some potential for investors, and all the more reason to promote supporter involvement

Maybe just newspaper talk. The owner was reputed only last week to be interested in Inverness Caledonian Thistle and look how that is finishing up.

Hopefully nothing comes of it imo. If he was to invest and inject money into the club is it going back to the start of the Ogren regime where money was thrown about at players and we just saw these said players picking up the money for not much return? Whereas now we have squad that is within the wage structure and look at the spirit within it. If United can get back to being debt free and being self sufficient that should be what we strive for.

Surely it depends on two things, the level of ambition and how effectively an increased budget is spent. Just because Asghar was on an ego drive and made bad budget decisions doesn't mean that it would happen again especially if proper football people were in charge.

If we aspire to challenge for either of the Cups and to get regular European football it's unlikely we could consistently match Hearts and Aberdeen on current budget levels.

Probably won't come to anything as usual with these kinds of articles but worth it alone to see follow follow discuss why Dundee Utd and not us

Kind of….. Scotland’s richest man Anders Poulson (A Dane who’s lived in the highlands for years, owns ASOS and is worth £7bn) bought Midtjylland from the Brentford owner last year and are good friends ! Apparently Poulson is interested in extending his football portfolio into a multi-club model and owns part of a small Portuguese team.

I’d be very surprised if it’s anything more than rumours! Would be nice to have that kind of wealth behind the club though! Since he’s lived in the highlands and absolutely loves it up there I wouldn’t be shocked if he waits for ICT to clear house through admin and then buys them!

The rumoured interest was first reported in a Danish newspaper and specifically mentioned Dundee United as the target of interest, as opposed to "a Scottish Club", so there may be something in it. Apparently Poulsen's company have said no comment, so not exactly denying that they've had a look. Or having a look.

Get what you say about the value in Inverness but equally there's no potential there.

If he’s interested in ICT he could just buy them. Couple of million to clear the debts would not be big money if he is interested.

As said though no fan base in ICT and United are in much better position with much more potential
