Bass - 6 - Couple of dangerous passes, one smart stop.

Ness - 6 - OK generally but comfortably the worst of the back 3, didnÂ’t offer anything in an attacking sense compared to Bedeau on the other side, and at fault for the goal. Still getting up to speed so not a major issue, but didnÂ’t really press home any claim to become a more regular starter.

Platt - 7.5 - Dealt with their big man very well, scored a decent goal and had a big hand in the second. Another top display. Has been a brilliant addition.

Bedeau - 7 - Same as Platt without the goals, defended very well but offered attacking impetus throughout even when overall we were below par in the first half.

Gordon - 6.5 - Actually had more impact when switched to the left second half, unlucky not to score after a number of attempts cutting in but got the assist instead. A tad fortunate not to receive a second yellow right at the start of the 2nd half, which at 1-1 feels like a pivotal moment.

Palmer - 8* - Just shades MOTM from Platt for me, this was the first time heÂ’s looked like the player he was pre-injury - albeit against lower division opposition. Ran the game.

Hinchy - 6.5 - Improved as it went on, use of the ball was good in the second half. Hope a good 90 will stand him in good stead after a couple of shaky displays.

Martin - 6 - Gordon showed him how it was done second half; didnÂ’t do a lot wrong but if heÂ’s not going to get at a non-league full back then when is he? Quite a bit behind Gordon and Tsaroulla currently, but has been a worthwhile short-term addition.

Abbott - 7 - Endless work and energy off the ball and some nice skill on it, the advanced midfield role isnÂ’t his position but there looked little alternative today.

Brown - 7.5 - Hard to argue with two goals and two assists, and has looked a much better player since being moved to a deeper role behind the main frontman as opposed to an out-and-out striker. The second assist in-particular was fantastic. Not really involved first half but came to life after the break.

Jatta - 7 - Not massively involved but took both goals well, his goals-to-game ratio is mental. What a signing.

McDonald - 6 - One crossfield pass straight out of play a lowlight, otherwise ok. Is a strong cover player at this level but looks several notches below Platt and Bedeau.

Cisse - 6 - DidnÂ’t really see a lot of the ball.

Cundy - 6 - OK.

Reynolds - 7 - Won the penalty and looked lively in a short time on the pitch. Could be worth a league cameo if all of the many attacking midfielders injured are still sidelined in a weeksÂ’ time.

Muir - N/A. Great to see him get further minutes, the club clearly have massive hopes for him.
