I think the kids will be inspired by Clarke's recent compliments towards them.

I think it is safe to assume that player registrations/ eligibility will have been tripled checked separately by two competent officials at Oakwell.
It may or may not be a bit early for players to have been pencilled in for sale in January and pull out due to a "knock" in training to avoid being cup tied.
Darren Moore's boys are flying at the top of the Fourth Division. It will be tough and Darrell's boys will need to be "at it "tomorrow.
Not sure if there are replays as the FA Cup becomes more and more devalued. If there are replays I'm going for a draw or a late winner for Vale.

I'd have thought that the prize money on offer and the chance to land a plumb draw in January which again swells the coffers should be enough to field a strong team tomorrow in a game which looks a tough assignment .
I don't buy in to the league is priority carp and leaving key players out for the FA Cup and it's something we haven't done in relatively recent times .
I sincerely hope that's the case tomorrow .
I’d imagine it will be quite a strong lineup with a few sprinklings of rotation/youngsters. That’s what I hope anyway.
Should be a tough game and a good test.
Let’s hope we can get a good win and take some more confidence into the Rovrum game.
Totally agree Animal. Having been given the lowdown on our financial situation recently at the fans forum, then every penny counts for us. Get to round 3 and a possible encounter with a big hitter would bring in much needed revenue just as our little run in the league cup and visit to Old Trafford did.
The game however is a toughy imo. Vale are doing great this season. Our away record is tidy though so I'm hoping Clarke sticks with more or less the same side that has seen a significant improvement since the international break. I'm going for an entertaining draw, that's assuming Vale laik at full strength too
The FA have announced there are to be NO REPLAYS in the FA Cup starting this weekend.
Extra time, then penalties to decide the winner.
All games to be played weekends only.
Another nail in the coffin of the FA Cup to please the "big" clubs avoiding fixture congestion.
Who remembers Barnsley 3 Man U 2 after the 1-1 at Old Trafford ?
We say it every season don't we. This latest decision to abolish replays being the worst yet.
Another nail in the coffin as tha sez SB

Who doesn"t remember the Man U matches, I still say the none penalty incident with Andy Liddle ranks amongst the worst decisions I have ever seen by a ref , but I get your point, the replay allowed us to register a glorious memory and that possibility has now been taken away from us plus the possible financial gains for a small club has also been removed but you know the new rules are designed to stop the over paid super stars from the premier league from exhaustion , poor little lambs !! slowly but slowly the elite are getting their way and eroding the game as we know it .
