Fair enough but if he's happy at Notts then why hasn't he signed a new contract along with Jodi?

Perhaps he wants a 4 year contract but we won't offer more than 2?

Personally I'd snap his hand off for a 4 year contract. 28 late Summer next year. Good player, unplayable when he's on form. That would cover the best years of his career and protect us if he were transferred. Do it Notts, do it now.

I remember last season after the Bradford home game, DC mentioned JC and got a real odd reaction off some.

I find football and faith a fascinating link. Remember re-watching the play of final highlights and amongst the carnage after Scott’s penalty, there’s a cut away to John Bostock in prayer. A real powerful image.

We are an intriguingly religious team.

Don’t realise he’d even been playing in the last 4 or 5 games till I looked at some stats earlier even when I’ve been to home games thought he was out

Amen to that. Agree with it or not there is no doubt that it is a better path than the bad attitudes and resulting headlines coming across from over the river with regards it seems from the owner at the top, the manager and at least one of their players.

I have a friend from 1972, married in 1973 to a fellow devout christian, same house until their 4 kids grandkids had grown up then downsized a couple of years ago. Not bitter about the one child lost shortly after birth, it being something decided for them by Jesus. Both use their spare time with christian duties and charities. His golf has always been less tempestuous than mine mirroring to quite an extent the difference in our lives.

On the other hand some of the most un-christian people I've met are religious.

However there is no excuse for Crowley to be played so deep - he should ensure his manager takes heed of Matthew's "Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick, and it giveth light unto all that are in the house." Get him forward and brightening everything up.
