THB - in England squad : How much did we help him ?

I have always been a fan of his since the first game he played for us. He arrived on Brunshaw Road with a high pedigree, and background, and the media hailed him as a future England captain. Manchester City knew what they were doing, letting us have him on loan. I wanted him to stay with us on a permanent basis. Now Lee Carsley has named him in his latest England squad , which to me, was just a matter of time. How big a part have we played in his development ?

Don't forget Carsley had him as the U-21's captain, let's see what Tommy Tootle does with him.

No way is THB England quality.

He only played a few games for us, so I can't really comment, but when I have seen him on the TV playing for Southampton he has been poor

I think Carsley is scraping the barrel and giving all his mates a lift up

I'm sure James Tarkowski must be shaking his head yet again, wondering what on earth he has done wrong.
