A few commentators saying we are gonna create a climate fund for other countries.

In my opinion this is crazy as the corrupt leaders of these countries will keep the money for themselves.

Very worrying how certain the Green lobby is that industrial activity has created the carbon dioxide that is responsible for the climate changes.

I wonder why they don't just cut the amount of gas and electricity that is available for heating and manufacturing. Just try it, see what happens.

It seems to me that transfers of money from the advanced economies to the politicians in charge of the developing economies is what COP 29 is about.

The COP conference is an annual ‘jolly’ organised by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UNIPCC).
However thanks to an email I received from Patrick Harvie last February when the Greens were still part of coalition with SNP the members of the UNIPCC are only estimating the CO2 emissions from Peatlands throughout the world.
If they are only estimating the CO2 emissions from this sector of the world economy what other sectors are they only estimating the CO2 emissions instead of obtaining the correct information.
I would not be surprised if these CO2 estimates by the UNIPCC are inflated so that they can have their annual COP conference to allow them to feel important.
I was disappointed when Humza Yousef binned the power agreement with the Greens as Patrick Harvie was an excellent source of information on a subject I have been investigating since September 2014.
