    The North gets shafted again...

Abrand new East West Rail project is set to provide a new train route linking Oxford and Cambridge, aiming to stop major overcrowding on some of the busiest lines in the region.

The ?1.9 billion scheme, backed by the government, will deliver a direct rail link between the two university cities via Milton Keynes and Bedford, creating a new connection across the UK.

About time they opened the old Skipton to Colne line up and upgraded the East lancs line from Rawtenstall to Bury.

Although I doubt I will see either in my lifetime

It will all kick off again in January when the Southport murder trial starts, it should expose this Labour government for what they are, Liars and incompetent fools

Starmer will rue the day he didn't tell the country the truth and improsined people for freedom of speech, at the expense of violent criminals

There are going to be big protests from farmers and rightly so.I really don't think that Starmer quite appreciates the potential damage he
could do with the latest measures against them.We should be doing everything we can to help farmers, the industry as a whole and the British
    countryside.

It'll be kicking off a lot sooner than that for Labour and Starmer, as soon as it comes out just how the little ****house came to be in this country.

Criminals are jailed because they break the law b_c. Inciting acts of violence does not come under the auspices of "freedom of speech".

Lying about immigration whether deliberate lazy or purely incompetent has been a feature of numerous Governments for many years. Starmer and co are just continuing a trend of failing the public. The public they should be informing and protecting. Fear not, they will tell you it will all get better when they reform the House of Lords.

While we keep on letting the French load the boats the problem is not going to go away. Starmer needs to grow a pair and tell Macron where to get off.
