    Lyon.

They might be demoted to League 2 in France at the end of the season because of their financial situation.

The links with Riyan Cherki have resurfaced in conjunction with their financial issues.

    Aye - Saw that.

The entire French league, well most of the teams bar PSG, seem to constantly teeter on the edge of collapsing due to the money issues.

A bit of back story about the financial plight of the French Football league.

As you've all been bored of hearing, I live in Qatar for the last decade. QSI - Qatar Sports Investment, Owners of PSG are obviously HQ'd here in Doha.

BeIn Sport, home of Andy Gray an Gorilla Mittz, Lizard lips Keys are the main digital broadcast partner to Ligue Un.

The French hate the influence the Qatari's have over the sport and decided to shop their offer around behind BeIN sports back. This outraged the Qatari's as they put a very generous offer on the table to renew their existing contract and long term relationship.

The French were so arrogant (No... really?) and thought they'd still be able to secure a better deal from Competitor.
All other potential deals fell through and Ligue Un had to go back on their knees to beg BeIN sport to reinstate the deal.
BeIN did what any business would to and cut the offer to the bone and demanded certain non-negotiables.

The last-minute deal was signed just weeks before the start of the French season with the total financial commitment reported to be close to €500m annually for the domestic broadcast rights, down from the €582m received during the previous deal.”

11 of the clubs are on the verge of bankruptcy due to losing 50% of it's TV revenue.

In comparison to the $1.5Billion deal for Ligue Un the Prem makes $7Billion over the same period.

    That's called Hubris.

The greed and arrogance of the board of directors at Ligue Un has destroyed their competition.

A completely different situation to the Prem but the clowns at the Prem need to take it as a warning. They are playing with fire messing with the FFP/PSR restrictions all the time. It will only end badly if they try to manipulate the league.

From a selfish point of view. It means some bargain basement deals to be made as they're in such a desperate financial situation.

Prem Clubs should pick the bones clean.

Not gona lie Rag - was hoping you'd pop up with some sort of explanation like this thanks muchly.

Just had a look at their squad - quite aging in the first team, bet there all on decent money.

Can't see many we'd go for to be honest.

You can see the state of the finances of a league that no one give a F**k about.
