    New Owners .....

New managers, new players, nothing works, you are bottom. Its like you are in a whirl pool and trying hard to swim away, but the pull is too strong.....too strong.

The decline of Carlisle has been active for generations....... whatever the problem is, it cant be diagnosed, only then can you fix it. What do you think the problem is, it cant go on for ever without something bad happening.

Can it be geography? If you were a cracking Kings Lynn player, and Carlisle wanted you, would you go? This is not a wind up thread but an honest note.

It’s starting to work Frank but it’s slow. The new Manager is starting to have an effect, the performances are improving and we’re picking up a few points and haven’t lost in the league since October. Too many poor players left from the old regime and too many injuries left us bereft of options. We have the money to strengthen but you’re right, geography does make it difficult to persuade certain players away from anywhere south of Preston. Maybe we’re fishing in the wrong pool - we’ve had decent players from the NE and Scotland before but now our eyes are to the South, maybe that’s a mistake.
