That was a bit mental: Stoke do us no favours: Couldn't be arsed: Men against lads

With only 18 points available because it was "a bit blowy", Silentman's (OEpO) dozen was a very fine effort and he scored points in all three of the games that went ahead as planned. Softly, softly catchee monkey, (Looks at table). Oh! Or should I say "Oooh! Oooh!" and shove a banana up my jacksee? Luckily, there aren't any in the house...

Nasty (xEpO), Totty (OEpx) and Stompy (OEpx) scored 9 points, each with one exact soreline (Mackems v Potters) and then one generic home win. I know I routinely say it, but I'd be intrigued to know how Nasty's 2-1 strategy would pan out in "real" betting. I guess this weekend's results weren't that unlikely, but he'd only have to hit a few really unexpected 2-1 outcomes to (probably) easily cover any outlay?

Nasty goes top. Alf is three behind in second. Sniffer is in third, three behind the Alfwit.

    Hopey couldn't be arsed.

There were no draws, so Johnny_Default ponders the meaning of life on 42 points. Any Strike One (Hopey), Strike Two or Strike Three posters would've scored nowt for their total lack of effort.

The average active score this week was 5.82.

    The results

    (PL) Spurs v Chelsea (3-4)
    (C) Sunderland v Stoke (2-1)
    (L1) Crawley v Stevenage (p-p)
    (L2) Gillingham v Salford (1-0)

The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.

    All the best! Stay safe!

Apologies last week was slightly mental on various fronts - not really challenging the scoreboard any way 😊

To be fair, I’ve come pretty close to forgetting to predict myself!

    Stupid competition…
