All it needs is for AJ to get a long term injury and we are shafted, a very real, and potentially season damaging issue. It was mentioned on Saturday that the only person on the pitch to have scored this season was Platt.

Just like the lose of JJ has dried up a massive part of our creativity. It's crazy that we're just relying on AJ and an Didzy who is possibly in his last season. Lets hope we bring someone in in January if we're serious about promotion.

I said just before the window closed we were still looking "thin" in terms of attack/goals,and that Scott was looking well off track, and that Didzy would play as little as 50% of games. I was shot down by a good number on here as talking rubbish as we only need one out and out centre forward and we have 3 !!! Last Sturday it all caught up with us. With JJ and Edwards out until at least late January, Crowley missing we are also very much lacking in creativity. The Damage is now done and unless Jatta, and at 3 others can keep the goals coming it will be far too late in January to salavage the situation in terms of a top 3 finish.

That's a shock, it isn't long ago that he was posting 'soon' on X, leading most of us to think that he might be back sooner?

I'm terrified of Jatta getting injured. Season well and truly over if that happens. We definitely need one more striker in in January, ideally someone young and quick.

We've done remarkably well if you consider that we've been without our best player for months and at any given time we've had multiple injuries to key players.

As above. Although Jatta has a great goals per game record he is not Langstaff who should have been replaced during the summer. I have to say the people who have come in have done a great job so far but can they keep it up till the injured players come back. Did I read somewere we will be in the market for a striker in January?

We needed more strength in depth up front in the summer - that was blindingly obvious when we flogged Langstaff.

The ?bed-wetters? were ruthlessly crushed by the apologists as needlessly negative but we?ve all seen it?s the truth.

Ho hum. Change required in January or it?s another year in League 2 for us.

Hopefully Cedwyn and Jeavani Brown will start chipping in a few goals and one or two of our injured players will return earlier than feared

Brown is not prolific enough to replace AJ if he picked up a long term injury and Scott well he?s not gonna get another year extension so just get rid in January along with Hinchy both are. It up to it.
