Team appears to lack motivation. I was taken aback by the lack of improvement from the subs today.
Should have started with the team that started on Wednesday.

I agree changing the line up from the fantatsic night on wendnesday was a huge mistake got to keep the momentum, as for the performance today it was pretty dire Isak scoring again the only real plus, ive said it a few times but i really think Howe has took us as far as he can now things have gone totally stale.

    Give owa, man.

We can't turn on him when it gets tough. Yes, he has questions to answer. We have a lot of games coming up and he obviously felt the need to shuffle things around but I was very surprised we didn't take the momentum from Wednesday into today's game by at least by starting with Tonali and Gordon.

    Hindsight though, eh?

There's a rabbit off but the team are equally if not more culpable than Eddie.

Getting results against the likes of Arsenal and even the draw against Liverpool are great, but they are comparable to what I refer to as ?Hero Gestures? when dealing with people.

The odd ?above and beyond? doesn?t excuse day to day *******s the majority of the time.

The players deserve criticism too mind, but in football the buck stops with the manager.

We?ve not had any consistency at all this season, we?ve never played well a few games in a row.

We should thank our lucky starts for the early part of the season where we were winning games by the skin of our teeth, against the run of play, avoiding nailed on pens against us? because if we hadn?t had those lucky results we really would be neck deep in the sh!t now.

It same as that it was in Bournenouth. Same 13 players know they have guaranteed place. There is no competition.

Nah, way too soon for the sack. Too much of that around these days.
There are clearly problems, and I don't really figure why our intense style of play has largely gone.
Sack Howe 1 game after that Liverpool performance? Not for me.
He must certainly be under scrutiny, but I still give him a lot of credit for what he has achieved so far. Definitely enough credit to give him time to fix it.

It really comes home to you when you see feckin Almiron coming on to try to swing the game.

He wasn't backed in the last two windows and coupled with our better players lacking form, there's only so much you're ever going to get from players like Almiron and Murphy. Schar, class as he has been (see also Burn), is beginning to creak a little and Pope isn't having the strongest season either.

He needs better players more than anything else.

What he doesn't need is us getting on his back.

    imo
