    Wigan. Win today is V I T A L

For me the season and Evans future, hinges on a win today.

A defeat and the reaction could be bad, with a very tough home game against Stockport to come.

I don't think this game today will be easy on the eye, Wigan come just one place above us with one of the best defences in the league. Only three teams have let less goals in than them. We are much better at home and looking at the games coming up i feel a win is not a must but it would give us a base to take on some strong opposition in the next couple of weeks.

I just don't see how Evans can change the side much. His back four just about picks itself with Rafferty, Odoffin,Jules and James being the obvious pick if all fit. Tiehi is out till the new year so if fit it will be Kelly and Powell in front of the back four with Wilks, Green ,Nombe in an advanced three and JCH up top. I expect that to be the team in a 4,2,3,1 formation.

I think we could nick this 1-0 but 0-0 also has to have a strong chance as well. Come on millers prove me wrong and give Wigan a caning.

I'd have Bramall for James. Mcwilliams for Kelly. Also McGuckin on the right for Wilkes.

At some point you will be correct with one of your predictions, IBS. There will be a tipping point when SE's services may no longer be required by the club. Win, lose or draw it will not be today. It'll be when many of us least expect the inevitable to happen to SE and Co. That time will probably never arise. That's my opinion.
Remember Wigan are there to be beaten.
We have a group of players who can beat Wigan provided they turn up today. I'm referring to The Millers of course.
Will you be cheering the lads on today, IBS?
Perhaps that is a daft question. Lol

    Up The Millers!!!

Either of those two predictions would require us to keep a clean sheet. That?s something we rarely do. I?m going for 1-2 to Wigan.

These two games will decide whether Evans is here in 2025 for me. Our away form is l1 relegation level football (little to do with the last two years Mr Evans) if we start drawing or losing games at home then we will be at serious risk of relegation. TS will not want a L2 team for our centenary year and if he is intending on selling up, he will get less money for a l2 club. After Stockport the transfer window opens and if we struggle in these two games will TS want to trust the little he plans to support the change to be given to Evans. SE is a jam tomorrow man, we have already had his "by Christmas", 2need more time" and "my teams always do better after the new year" speeches, so he knows he has to get points on the board to be given this window and the rest of the season.
Huge game today and on Sunday a minimum of 4 points is needed for SE and decent performances in both.

I agree with that comment, I just don?t think we?ve the management to beat Wigan. Hope I?m wrong.

Looks like Jules is injured. McCart in for him. Only change
