A New Manager - Now Urgent

After the thrashing today and gulf in quality a new fresh thinking manager needs to be announced immediately.

If Patel can allow good money to be chucked at absolute garbage in the shape of Cole, Racic and Holgate ( not to mention the departed donkey Dobbin and the minute man McDair ) then even better cash can pay for a manager who can take us forward.

Just hope the new manager brings in his own team ( no past thoughts or tactics ) and either sell or loan out Wallace and Swift. Both on high wages and contribute zero.

Bournemouth after they scored did not even get out of second gear. Did we not learn from dropping Palmer last year v Wolves? Why bring on JM, Diakite and Johnston when we were losing 4-1? Surely you start the best players and take them off if needed?

Poor for the many travelling fans who made themselves heard!

As one poster remarked on a different forum,
    I quote
I?m so depressed after watching our once great club getting ****ing
    Battered by ****ing Bournemouth
    So many negatives today
    The goalkeeper looks gash
    Holgate please **** off
Taylor sorry don?t look good enough
Hopefully Wallace, Swift & Diangana Cole never wear the shirt again
Sorry for everyone who travelled to watch that ****.
    .**************
And to think some people think we passed Bournemouth off the park, dear oh dear

We are not playing again until next Saturday so just pick the best side and hope that there are no injuries. Let the next game take care of itself. It is not fair on travelling fans who pay good money to travel all that way. Let us be honest, we would have struggled to beat them, even with our best eleven, but losing 1-5 does nothing for confidence and the reputation of our club.

Panic over nothing again. This was a nothing match. Were getting a new manager for some to have a go at when we dont win every match. We were a match for Bournemouth the whole first half, nothing between the two sides the commentator said. The second half started badly and got worse for us. End of. Its not a catastrophe. Its a match we lost. I swear some are on drugs on here judging by the knee jerk reactions. Get over it. It wont be long for you to have a new manager and players to moan about.

I don?t know if you noticed but we went in at half time 3-1 down and apart from the first 20 mins we were second best to everything, Bournemouth never got out of second gear the whole game, the gulf in class was immense

This was such a nothing match. It?ll tell you nothing about the players or those at the wheel. Bournemouth are miles ahead of us in squad quality, made less first team changes than us and were at home. It was always going to be a trouncing. They?d have trounced most sides in the league too.

Absolutely nothing to see here. It literally tells us, for those who didn?t know, where we are in football standing compared to Bournemouth which is worlds apart.

As far as a nothing match tell that to the supporters who spent good time and money travelling to watch that inept gutless performance

Holgate, Racic, Wallace and Swift won?t give two f ucks about the travelling fans as they probably didn?t even need a shower. Don?t mind the thrashing but effort and spirit is everything as shown by little Harrogate! Please please a new manager v Stoke and a new team to support him!

PS - it could be Racic, Holgate and Cole have received calls from Spain which could explain their lack of effort!

The problem on this board is that, at the present moment, we appear to have two completely opposite camps. There are those looking through rose coloured spectacles and those who are all gloom and doom. In reality, we are somewhere in between.

Obviously we require a new, forward thinking, young head coach and also we need to bring in some new players and release others. Our most important requirement is the new head coach so that he can make use of what little time we have to assess the situation and act accordingly. This will not be easy task and I do not envy the person who is tasked with doing this.

To be fair Bomber, I did not go because I foresaw us getting thumped. I put a 3 - 0 loss on the prediction league as I hoped we might put out a reasonable side. We did not do that and so the inevitable happened.

To put a level of balance to this Bournemouth are 7th in the Premiership, a league we would be lucky to come last in.
    The gulf is huge.

Disappointed with the score yes. Surprised by the result, not in the slightest.

Let us stop this slating of managers and players and instead get behind and be a fan or supporter. Yesterday I was a fan as I did not attend.

Al often says, if you were not at the match do not complain. (Not that I actually agree with that ethos, however if the cap fits, well you know the rest).
