Thread: Who to keep for next season

Who to keep for next season

If we go to the premier league at least

    Keep
    Meslier
    Cairns
    Bogle
    Byram
    Schmidt
    Struijk
    Rodon
    Ampadu
    Gruev
    Tanaka
    James
    Ramazani
    Gnonto
    Aaronson
    Piroe
    Joseph

This would mean we would need to sign 1 Goalkeeper, 1 Fullback, 2 Centrebacks, 1 Central Midfielder, 1 Winger, 1 Attacking Midfielder (a 10), and 2 Strikers to make a squad of 25

Don't know who these additional players would be but I'm sure our richer ownership should be able to facilitate such transfers

Why a crap spurs don't want him? he might look ok in championship but premier league.
On that list for us I would only keep.
Rodon,Tanaka,James, Ramazani, the rest have shown either they cant hack it and others not good enough.

    Meslier, Bamford and Farke.

I'm rarely right in anything I predict but suspect this one will be spot one.

Solomon is a prem league player... on any team. Same applies to Tanaka, Ramanzi, Gnonto, Gruev, Rothwell, James, Ampadu, Rodon, Strujik. Byram is but he's fragile and older.

Still think that Joseph is on many teams. Wrong coach and tactics for him under this one.

Oz, a better question is why we aren't running away with the league with this squad.

Can Farke hack it in the Premiership?

Probably need 6 or 7 quality players.

    Lets get there first

Solomon is PL, the only reason we have him is Spurs wanted him to get fit from some bad injuries. I hope we can sign him?.
You say why do we take a Spurs reject, yet you list Rodon as someone you would keep, let go by Spuds, James is a Scum reject?Double standards,

Hey Clive - hope all is well. Decent list but a lot of those would be squad players rather than starters if we want to stay up.

Think GK, CB,LB. 10 and 9 need strengthening

Depends which league we?re in, we obviously can?t attract anyone at the moment, although seemingly every other championship club can and do.
