Money Spent in the Summer 2024 by the Club

Money spent in the Summer 2024 by the Club

I know we did not buy players in the summer 2024
    for the 2024-25 season.
But how much money did Steve Evans use to bring players in, with signing on fees & wages.
Did he empty the coffers at the NYS with his
signings with big wages & signing on fees.
Therefore there was no money left to buy
players in the January 2025 window.
Could the club be skint as a church mouse.

ELK, i think JCH took a fair old bit. We moan about Hugill but he's actually done it, and still might if we play wingers and put decent balls in.
JCH never has, but he's an old friend of our leader..................jobs for the boys springs to mind.......

    A big loan taken out.

Was is spent on transfer fees in August or January? No.
Was it spent on NYS improvements? No.
Was it spent on an Academy? No.
Was it spent on the training ground. No.

Is it being spent on wages? Probably.

The church mouse is looking like Nelson Rockefeller compared to RUFC.

ELK come back with some figures, what was our budget, what was the signing on fees, what was the big wages & who. Then posters might be able to give you an answer instead of guess work.

Wouldn't it be easier to answer the question who is not misleading us?
The Stewarts aren't lying because they don't say anything, except at the manager sacking time or recruitment. RS isn't lying because he is working very hard to bring players in, and he goes to many games to watch the players that we will never sign. PD isn't lying because he is working hard on finding new ways not to offer Odoffin a new contract. Karen our CFO isn't lying because she is busy in the counting house banking the savings from the January transfer window.

While this article doesn't give any figures, it's states that we are operating this season on the biggest playing budget they have ever had in League One, and that the vast majority of it went in the summer on the wages of the new players.

    I don't have figures, I don't know the budget.
That is why I said in my thread, has all the money been spent on signing on fees & wages.
For me to know the budget etc, I would probably had to sign the official secrets act.
The club only let you know, what they want you to know.

Avondale I have slagged off Hugill, but in other posts I have said in his defence.
That he can say, he has not been provided the ball service to score goals, all centre forwards need ammunition to be able to find the net.

That article just makes me even more depressed
So we sell Tiehi, Bramall, Kioso, victor, mcart, Rathbone for 2.5 million and then release 7 others from the wage bill including paying up Eaves, just so we can pay the wages of
JCH, Kelly, McDonald, Rafferty, Powell, McWilliams and Raggett for two years?

I'm sure they didn't mention that when they were giving season tickets the hard sell, talking about promotion and with loads a money burning a hole in his pocket
