Why are my apostrophe’s changing into question marks
January Transfer Window
Two weeks gone already and zero movement in.
There have been four goalkeepers moved out on loan though -
Andy Fisher - St Johnstone
Nathan Broome - Port Vale
Ben Hughes - Caernarvon Town
Evan Watts - Galway
Also another goalkeeper Jon McCoughlin?s contract ends this month and given his awful display last match there?s doubt that he?s good enough to deputise for Vigouroux .
We haven?t been too clever in the transfer window so far in trying to boost our weak playing squad, dithering with low bids for centre-back Joe Low from League One Wycombe whilst other Championship clubs are one step ahead of us with an astonishing seven centre-back signings already completed in the transfer window so far.
Why are my apostrophe’s changing into question marks
Certainly surprised me after his poor performance against Southampton

Incoming - Centre-back Hannes Delacroix on loan from Burnley. He’s rusty though, not having played this season and will take a while to get up to speed. Can’t see him playing Saturday. Played 12 times for Burnley last season in the Premier League.
Outgoing - Azeem Abdulai to Leyton Orient on a permanent transfer, never given a chance by Williams in his proper position.
What’s going on at Swansea. First Darling will not sign a new contract, then the manager is touting himself for the West Brom job and now our captain has put in a transfer request with Coventry having two bids turned down already but confident of a deal being done.
Meanwhile we are in free-fall sliding down the table, conceding goals for fun and dumping as many players as we can. With only a few days left of the transfer window we’ve managed to sign only one player, a loanee and hardly an inspired signing as he’s had a long term injury and hadn’t played since last March.
Our club is in turmoil with amateurs in charge.
So, with Grimes gone to Coventry, Darling on the brink of signing for Sheff Utd, Abdulai signed for Orient and scoring a hat-trick on his debut, one wonders who else will depart in our free for all car boot sale.
We have, apparently, actually signed a player, Danish club Aalborg midfielder Melker Widell, but he is going back there on loan until the end of the season as part of the agreement!

Swansea City are said to be keen on signing Lorient winger Joel Mvuka
Its going to be strange from now on without our mainstay of 300 games and captain Matt Grimes.
I can’t believe the hierarchy here were willing to let him go, and rubbing salt in the wound to another Championship club of similar standing.
Whether he wanted to go or not, he was on a long term contract with us, was the best paid player at the club and has left us in the lurch at the worst possible time, with only a few days to get a replacement in before the transfer window closes, thanks Matt. We made you a multi-millionaire during your stay here and this is the thanks we get, a kick in the teeth. If he really wanted to go it should have been at the end of the season.
Also what has happened that he suddenly asked for a transfer, is there’s something going gone on at the club that we don’t know about.
Anyway, moving on, our leader has just splashed Grimes’ transfer fee on Danish midfielder Melker Widell and, unbelievably, as part of the deal he’s being loaned back to selling club Aalborg for the rest of the season! We needed him now not in six months time!
The transfer window closes on Monday Feb 3 at 11pm, we have only the weekend to get reinforcements in with the nightmare scenario of an inexperienced Chairman, working on his own, making all the decisions, to try and bring players in.
26 year-old midfielder Lewis O’Brien on loan from Nottingham Forest.
19 year-old midfielder Jacob Wright on loan from Manchester City.
Jay Fulton to Plymouth on loan?
