The Centenary Season In League 1

We aren`t getting promoted this season,I know....."No sh*t Sherlock",but I`m sure everyone,Evans,TS and the fans, would have thought there`s a decent chance of us being in the Champ for our 100 year anniversary, which would have been something good for Tony to retire on,if infact he is.
Given that we are in the 2nd week of Feb,and we currently are as close to be relegated as making the play-offs,and from what I`ve seen so far,we are exactly where we should be,and probably where we will end up,give or take a couple of places either way.
We can play well for 4 or 5 games, but then very poorly for another 5 or 6,I don`t see this changing much given the fact that the squad is short on quality and depth, not a recipe for promotion, but a season of nothingness, which we haven`t had for years, maybe we`ve just been spoilt by all the boom and bust recently.
Wiil be interesting to see if this will be enough for Mr Stewart at the end of the season,or will we be looking for another another manager again.

The club won't get promotion, no money in the coffers to sustain a chance
of staying up in the championship, if promoted.

Only chance of the Millers getting a promotion from league 1 next season, & holding
a place in the championship, is with a big investment from another party, with Tony
Stewart selling up, or allowing partners in.
But how the land lies with the Millers, who would want to invest in the club.

We started in the 3rd tier, and we'll complete our century in the 3rd tier. 100 years of unbroken league football. How many at our level can say that?

Unless Stewart has gone i can't see more than 2000 season ticket sales. The number of people not renewing next season should be of deep concern for the club. Once bitten twice shy.

    Great comment Jock.
