    Injuries

For several seasons now our treatment room has been like Piccadilly Circus. And on it goes year after year. Yes players get injured in every club but we seem particularly afflicted. It goes beyond the norm. I think we need to review how we train, the physio methods and the type of players we seem to keep signing. Being a value for money man, Stewart must be alarmed by salaries against minutes available to play

Could it be the training pitch at Roundwood, causing the problems

Not showing at Blackpool on sky sports + tonight so just keep a check on the score. Can't see how SE can change it much from Saturday. Hugill for Green that's about it. Raggett at centre back. No other left back Jules doesn't look mobile enough for that position.

Roundwood pitch surface is quite bobbly which might lead to sprained ankles perhaps?

Roundwood has always been roundwood. In the main. And the drainage has been improved. Never had issues like this in the other years.
Could it really have changed that much?

    Enter excuse taylor.

Clearly it is down to prone players, some not even fit when they arrive, or off the back of clear difficult injury history. Add on the possibility of physio staff not being as specialised in difficult injuries , maybe, as was the ones under warne.
These sick bay players in the last two years especially, not good.

There's nothing worse than trying to play football on an uneven surface with a ball bobbling about.
