    Rotherham Titans

Late last season I wrote on these boards about the Titans overtaking Leeds to the one promotion spot into National 1.
I don?t think that anyone expected Rotherham to do quite as well at the higher level, but following todays remarkable win at Esher (31-7 down after 39 mins and ended up winning 68-34) Rotherham sit in 2nd place just two points behind leaders Richmond, having won 16 of 19 games with just seven games to play. They still have to play Richmond at the Lane in the penultimate game, but before that they have a raft of games against the top teams, so it is not a winner takes all game at this point.

I know all us Millers fans are hurting, but in a miserable season, the Rugby team are a shining light. For the town & whilst attendances are improving I am hoping that Millers fans will also back this wonderful team.
With that in mind, and particularly considering the Millers are away at Bristol Rovers next Saturday, my good friend Rothman2 has asked me to say that it would be great to see more Millers fans at the home game at Clifton Lane against Birmingham Moseley next Saturday, 1st March - 2pm kick off.
Titans are having a remarkable season and hope that as many of you can get there to cheer the lads on.

    Thank you.

Nice report, Nardendee and glad to see the Titans are doing so well. I'm over for a visit soon but unfortunately doesn't look like I can make any of the home matches. (I'll probably be in Rotherham on March 15 but the Millers game against Exeter takes precedence...)

Seeing the Esher result took me back to my days of playing rugby since Esher was a regular fixture for me when I played for Old Reigatians in the late 70s/early 80s. Esher have really moved up the leagues to tier 3 whereas OR languish in tier 6 (Regional 2 Southeast)
