    No fist pump?

Seems a bit trivial but any idea on why no one did the victory fist pump in front of the kop today? My first thought was they were pissed off at being booed off at half time, but that?d be a bit lame.

Or did I just miss it?!

Just watched Maynard?s interview, that explains it. Fair enough.

I still think Alex Bass should have been given the opportunity to lead it.

That would have been celebrating individual contribution rather than team performance.

It was Matty Platt that told Bass not to.
I respect the reason but think it was a bad call.
We all know it was a poor performance but we still want to celebrate a victory. Let?s face it, we?ve dominated enough games and not won so it was still refreshing to win despite being poor.
My 10 year old loves the celebrations at the end and couldn?t understand why the fans were snubbed.

...ffs, we won ugly. Points first, entertainment second. Tranmere, like PV bullied throughout; thank you not, referee. The team knew they were right off it...listen to the SM interview. SM doing fine with resources he has. We're in a promotion slot with many unseasoned players who are doing their bit. Explain how we could do better with that mix of players...someone?

Paraphrasing - although a win the performance wasn't good enough for the standards that are set.

Yeah, Maynard said the players and he didn't want to celebrate such a dross performance. Also said the booing from fans at half-time was fair enough and should have spurred the players on more.

Maynard explained the no fist bumb thingy and it's a fair enough answer... I know the younger generation love that part at the end because it makes them feel involved... we won yesterday...we won very very ugly but we won... I absolutely get why Platt didn't want to celebrate a lacklustre performance but if we won in complete style every single week we wouldn't be in league 2...
