    Never in the Top Half

If you look at the site below you can see we haven't been in the top half of the table ALL season, we have been in a relegation space 3 times.
Yet right up to two games ago people talked about play-offs, how delusional are some fans, owners, commentators (LP) and management

When the club signs players ready for claiming PIP from the DWP, what do we the fans expect.
Steve Evans blew the pot on players past their best, who came to fill their pension pots.
JCH came to the club, be it he at one time scored goals, but the Millers signed him on his past, we needed a player perhaps from the lower leagues with a hunger to play football & score goals.
Raggett is always injured, another one signed who came for a last pay day.
The club are a joke, management has no ideas on tactics , upstairs no clue on football, other clubs in the promotion / play-off places must feel all their Christmas's come at once with how the Millers have faired under Steve Evans & his sidekick.

I would like to know when T/S his going to tell us what the hells going of.I will not be going for the rest of the season sadly.Nobody can convince me at the Club that anybodys bothered what we do,where we finish. We have waved the white flag & that to me is totally out of order.

There was that run in January where Humphreys started playing in front of the back four that started to get people thinking, including me,''this could be the start of what SE has been promising all season''. It didn't last long as it blew up in spectacular fashion at Burton and has never looked like coming back since.

The club hasn’t had a clue since warne left, not a realistic one. Players were sold and money upon money still was wasted.

This thread is the telling one. Always in bottom half. Most matches proof of no false position. This squad isn’t even trying now.
The problem I have is will we get the realisation within the club of the mistakes that have been made?

I think not. Which is the chilling part. They don’t know what damage they have done, let alone who will come in that they will listen to.

Bottom half and further down is closing in.

Just watched, since it popped up, the daft meet the gaffer press interview last april.

Final quote was how many good players at the club last april, SE would take the best of those moving forward.

How many are still left? (Plus the one we can’t get rid of)

    Tells it’s own story.

I agree MMD.....I ve been a supporter for 40 odd years and I have never seen a Millers' team booed off when it is evident that everyone has tried their best and given it all. That is the starting point when it comes to understanding a fan base. The Club are clueless in understanding that, let alone the rest that accompanies it. Like others have said on this forum,if we were 14th in the League but there was a clear structure of what we were trying to achieve by buying good, young players with pace and width mixed with experience lead by a young coach trying to make a name for himself then the fans would buy into it. Instead,we have this 'make it up as we go along',quick fix, cobbled together approach to try and attain instant gratification. Most fans are not stupid, some are,but most are not. This is where the angst and frustration is coming from on this board, not the League position. It just all feels so 'empty' at the moment.

To some extent it happened after evans left the first time. Everyone is a lot older now, and this could be a factor. Not wiser though it seems.

History does repeat itself here, too much.

I guess it did to be honest. It wasn't until we 'dropped on' Warne that things began to stabilise. I think the most remarkable fact out of our recent history is how many seasons we have spent in the Championship over the last decade.I actually don't know how we've done it,given all the negativity around the training ground, the budgets, the way the run is run etc..etc.. I will say though, out of all of those seasons,I don't think anyone has ever felt that we were there for the long haul.We may have survived a few times but it never felt like it was a foothold to keep us there.
