Millersmad Matchthread - Bristol Rovers v The Millers

3kin years since we last won away on a Saturday afternoon 3 o?clock kick off!

We were sold an expensive dream by Evans! Trips to Wembley and challenging for promotion.
Paying big wages to players that have been promoted before that are not playing in their natural positions.
The injuries are unbelievable but we were promised that those types of players would not be signify. The age of the players have gone up and if we lose today we will be in a relegation fight!

    We need to win today

Enjoy the best you can Fellow Millers!

    COME ON YOU REDS!

I always want us to win but not since the days of George Kerr have I been less interested in the club than I am right now.

Any other manager employed by TS would have been sacked weeks ago after a season like this one......including Warne. You can't help but feel this is a must win game!

You do get that feeling, but being such big pals and trumpet blowing, evans? failure and manner of is a red face for them and so there is a reluctance to admit setting him on was a big boo boo. Only when it gets even worse (they hope it gets better and stops the need to sack) will a parting come.

Problem comes in the summer. No room for much player tinkering. All the one year deals will disappear, but it leaves too many two year deals old crocks.

I think the decision to start with JCH is that he used to play for them and ex players score quite a bit against their former clubs! That might be the tactical master stroke behind it!!

Opted for a weekend away rather than watch this current team.

Some geriatrics in that Bristol team. Also Grant Ward-remember him ? Looks a boring 0-0 to me.
