    From accounts report above
    ----------------------------------------------
Bilkul has continued to provide operating monies to the club since the takeover and additional capital injections totalling ?25.3m have been received to date.

The club recorded a loss of ?33.9m (2023: ?11m loss) for the period ended 30 June 2024.

Turnover decreased to ?28.2m (2023: ?56.7m), owing to a reduction in Premier League distributions and sponsorship income.

Staff costs decreased from ?45.9m to ?42.9m, with the decrease predominantly driven by changes to the men’s first team playing squad and senior leadership staff.

Patel will no doubt have to continue to put his hand in his pocket unless we are promoted (which he must have his fingers crossed for)

As fans, we naturally continue to be critical about performances and things we feel could have been done better on the pitch or in recruitment but this anniversary is a reminder of just how much worse things could have been. May not be too much of an understatement to say that the take over by Shilen saved the club?

Yes, we could be in a far worse position than we are. We must be grateful to both Patel and Corberan who have guided us through probably one of the worst times in the clubs history. We are still in a position to challenge for a play-off place although I do feel that promotion is a step too far and that we need at least another season in the Championship. We need to give TM time to inculcate his tactics and give him the tools, by that I mean players, to achieve this.

Today will be a difficult game to navigate through and hope that the side can give a good account of themselves.
