Cardy got away with it tonight- big time.

I have already read some of tonights after match comments on here , and I can?t think of a word strong enough to sum up that shocking performance. We were cruising in the first half, took our two chances well, and then it went haywire ,as soon as Cardiff pulled a goal back.
In the second half there was only one team in it, and wanting to win the game. That team wasn?t us. Cardiff deserved a draw , and had they converted that glorious chance at the end , they would have finished with a draw. They dominated the second half, as we surrendered possession , and the territory to go with it.At the other end, Foster again, could have been a hero to the Clarets who made the long journey to the Welsh Capital. Instead he fluffed it. Surprise , surprise. Chuck in a couple of stupid , unnecessary yellow cards ,and that sums it up.
When the team came over at the end to acknowledge the travelling fans, Parker looked really embarrassed to be going home with the win. He knew it, and so did we. Despite the welcome three points, I left the stadium feeling more than a bit disappointed with the performance. The fans deserve better than this . I know one thing- I couldn?t watch this every week.

Spot on Mal,I was sat in my armchair cringing watching the second half waiting for the equaliser going in. Very poor indeed and lucky to come away with three points.

Cardy got away with it twice seemingly. The critical fact is that we won. Refs seem happy to give spot kicks to our opponents but not to us.

I didn't see last night game, but I have been saying for quite a while that in my personal opinion. Parker won't be with Burnley that long.

Despite where we are in the league, I just believe that his style of football will catch up with him. Because it is awful to watch. They will become a point when most won't want to watch it anymore. I also believe that he wasn't the clubs first choice anyway from the beginning. Van Nistelrooy was. Ok, we all know how that has worked out now with Leicester. But at the time, I think he was who we really wanted. Not Parker.

Also think what he did against Preston was complete disrespect to all those 6000 fans who paid there hard earned money to watch a clear 'can't be arse with the cup' performance. Josh Brownhill post match interview pretty much confirmed what the managers message must have been before the game. I lost count the amount of times he referred to Tuesday night being more important.

Losing wasn't so much the issue, but the attitude was total disrespect to the fans.

Everyone is entitled to there thoughts, but not taken with Parker to be honest. I can't help but think he's another Southgate, no balance to his approach. All one sided football. Defence Defence defence.

Football is a two sided game.

Football we know is an emotional game but last night we had the lot.As Malwayne, who I spoke with at half time, had it right. We were cruising and then Cardiff got a late first half goal.We came out for the second half and had a really good 10 mins when we were unlucky not to go
further ahead. Then the wheels came off and we decided to play around in our own box.We were outplayed and certainly outfought. Then to cap
it all with 30 seconds left Foster is clean through and two yards out decides to try and pass the ball.Lucky, relieved and we got the 3 points but
God help us if we go up.Final thought - we have one hell of a player in Esteve,he will go but please make sure we get a big fee, this boy has the lot.

Having watched our diabolical perfornace last weekend at Preston, I was pleased with the way we started at Cardiff. We scored two good goals and I was expecting us to go on and score some more. Then they scored and we looked shell shocked until after the half time interval we appeared to be on the front foot for a short period. For the last half hour it was as though the clocks had gone back three years and we tried to hoof the ball forward, but no Burnley player was there. Not sure who is to blame but one thing for ceratin is we are no where ready to join the premier league.

Cardiff are fighting for their survival in the Championship and in the last ten minutes they chucked the kitchen sink at us. It was never going to be a poetic ending. I have just checked we did get three points last night.

Not one team who has been promoted to the Premier league as ever been ready. Forest bought a complete new team when they got promoted

So did we under Kompany and that did not work out well, it only peed off those who got us to the premier league and were not given a chance.

Three bright prospects who had been here on loan, Maatsen, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Tella, none of them became our players, we replaced them with cheap alternatives.
