Summer clear out - but not the manager?

    https://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.u...summer-5021762

What we need is a new manager and fast. To let loose this clown yet again would be folly in the extreme.

We have multiple evans signings, he says of whim some will go but honour contracts at the same time. ???
Douglas says we need to go back to a mix of player types as of warne. Sign, bring on, with experience. EVANS DOES NOT KNOW HOW - holmes being a case in point.
You have to be able to SPOT potential first.

So, where is the money coming from to achieve this sudden big mix?
Think of all the points PD raises quoted in the tizer, then given the past three years, unfortunately the board won’t do it all, certainly not this summer.

Appalling. They are clueless as to collectively what their actions cause. Buying a load of misfit has beens, unfit ones at that, and they couldn?t see it.

And where does this all now fit in with the “get back up as soon as possible” mentality? Wasted money season, and “difficult position” Mr. Douglas, yes you said it! And don?t we know it.

Build a squad summer time again, announced early March. Yeah, watch the drop zone loom again as the players realise now. Close but not close enough to make them want
    to ditch the clown.

Who we going to get a journeyman or using us as a stepping stone manager? I'm willing to give SE & Scott another window to put it right.

I’m not calling you a fool, but more fool you. It is time to start building this club in the right way, can you not see that? Which does not include evans.

Reason? Just look at this season. And it’s not all about him. Unfortunately we can’t do anything about above him.

He'll know what's needed more than a new manager starting from scratch.

We need players that are trying to forge a career not the usual tired out journeymen

Start a fresh in the summer, what we have at NYS is a manager who rubs up people the wrong way.
This season he has caused more problems for our club in public relations.
With opposing managers, referees & his own players.
Evans condemning his own players publicly, instead of in-house is wrong.
Evans blamed the social media for condemning Man Utd loanee player Gore, when in fact he made comments.
Evans has used up all the words in a dictionary in excuses.
He squanded the clubs transfer money on players who are past their best playing years, yes no transfer fees, but signing on fees, players wages, & agents fees.

64,000$ question - Who do bring in as manager, who would want to come to the NYS.
First though get Chief Executive in place, who knows football, financially & on the playing field.

A properly run club with truthful ambitions would snap up Cooper, who did amazing things at Forest and is now temping for UEFA.
But I'm not suggesting we're any of those things, and - short of a takeover or boardroom revolution - I'm resigned at least to starting another season of failure, hot air and bs from the current incumbents...😪

He was reckoned to be on around ?2m a year in his last two roles, which I suspect is at least four times the budget we'd ever look at for basic salary. The logic is sound around looking at people who came up through a different route (ie, not a journeyman career manager), but I doubt the wage would ever be agreed, let alone a sales pitch around the set-up we have.

Be careful that you don't start arguing with one of your other selves
