I can't think of anything to post regarding this game so I'll leave it at that for now .

It's a must win game if we still have thoughts of getting into the play offs.

Strangely I am actually looking forward to going to the match today, the fact that we now have nothing to play for makes me think that they can play with no pressure on them and as the old saying goes they can go out and express themselves and enjoy themselves , with that in mind I am hoping for a positive performance and hopefully a result to match but we are not going up this season and we are not going down therefore it also should give Hourihane the platform to try players , systems etc without pressure and we can actually see who genuinely wants to play for this club and who wants away, their attitude and performance should reflect their intentions , we shall see .

To be fair Shad they should be genuinely playing for this club and the paying fans every game .

This is one of the many reasons I've fallen out with football , I always enjoy reading your posts Shad and respect your views but we've had a good number of players in the last few years who've downed tools when it's not going their way , it's not necessarily a Barnsley thing by any means but given we are a hard working community and the fan base is probably as working class as it gets it doesn't wash with me too well .

I know you were a big fan of Callum Styles and as I say I respect your opinion but he was one of the main culprits of jacking it up here when things weren't going his way and I've never forgiven him for it .

If all our players had the same ethics of Mads Andersen even with less ability we'd be in a better place today despite the idiots who run this club .

In my opinion it's a bloody low bar if our players decide which time of the season it is , who is HC and which games they want to give the fans 100% .

I agree with everything you say apart from the Styles comments who personally I thought was totally messed about by the club, the actively wanted to sell him, they played him in countless positions, they sent him out on loan and totally messed him about with a view to simply hawking him off and what pees me off is that he is a talented footballer who was totally miss managed and replaced by inferior quality but that is only my opinion and I totally respect anyone who has a different take on the lad but I agree with you about players chalking on it and hence my comments referring to the last 9 games where Houihane gets a chance to asses who wants to be here and give their all or those who want to move on and just go through the motions ,but you are right they should all give every ounce to the cause but we know that is not always the case . Its a pity we have not got a few young ones chomping at the bit because this is one of those rare occasions we could give them a run of games and gain invaluable experience , hopefully Flavell does well and it would have been spot on for Yoga , maybe Barret , Bland and Bailey McCann might prosper , we will see.

We need to get back to 343.

Moving the ball quicker going forward.
Back to a time when the team had 3 or 4 touches before having a strike at goal.
Back to a time when every game saw us have between 20 to 30 strikes at goal.
Back to a time when we had a smaller percentage of possession but came away as winners.

While also having another anchor midfielder to give support to Connell who is often left isolated - which will provide proper defensive cover in-front of the centre backs.

    Plenty of players out injured.
    My lineup against Cambridge.

    Flavel
    Mael - Pines - McCarthy
    Lembikisa - Connell - Nwakali - Farrugia
Humphreys - Rodrigues or Lewis - Dunn

Lembikisa is laiking for Jamaica by the way. Exactly what you have seen in him to make him a starter has totally escaped my attention.
So it looks like Benson again on the right. I?m sure Russell will also feature although I think Nwakali has more flair but he won?t put a foot in.

So we?ll see what Neeravs top 4 squad can deliver today.
Good luck to Conor on his home debut
