O/T No Electric Today Bottom End Swinton Today

No electric from 10am this morning, might be back on for 6-7 pm.
Electric board putting letters through letter box, not taking responsibility but will compensate on electrical equipment.
My 2 freezers full of beef joints etc, hoping everything will be OK.
I told wife we will have toast for tea, been to wetherspoons to off set the problem.
I hope I can claim on my electric Rolex

I understand freezers should be good for 24 hours, as long as you don't open them too often in that time.

Your fridge should stay cold for up to 4 hours. The food in your freezer should stay frozen for up to 48 hours in a full freezer (or 24 hours if it's half full), you can try your house insurance but you can?t claim off YEB if it thaws out.

That's the MJ growing houses that keep tripping the power off down there.

Or he can hold one hell of an early bbq for us lot on here and while he's at it, invite Hammy and the lads down for a burger or three
