    Matt Hamshaw - Press Conference

He's taken on a big job but as Millers it's hard not to get behind him for the next 8 games isn't it?

Excellent interview. Smiles on the players faces at training this morning - I bet there were! No criticism or comment on previous management team - class. Good luck Matt.

Not hard at all, as fans and supporters we all should be behind him.
    Season starts tomorrow.

Wasn’t filled with enthusiasm for the trip to Northampton after Saturday, but Iam am now.

I thought he spoke well and handled questions comfortably. I really hope he has some success.

One thing I couldn't understand though.....where were the club representatives? Surely someone should have been there to support him.
No Chairman (he never appears unless things are going well), no Chief Operating Officer, no Head of Recruitment, no Head of Media.
Just Matt Hamshaw on his own which kind of sums up the way the club is run.
Good luck Matt, looks like your employers will be behind you all the way.......literally.

Good points Mellow other than when the Club appointed Steve Evans last April the Chairman was never off the Club's media and things were certainly not going well then. TS will be devastated on how things have turned out.

Actually TS thought things were going well though Jimmy. He'd just reappointed his mate to bring back the good times........

I guess you're right Mellow. TS really thought he'd done the right thing and in that sense I have a great deal of sympathy for him.He will feel like he has a lot of egg on his face right now especially when you re watch those interviews from last April to July. Having said that I don't think there is anyone, not even those that didn't want Evans back, who thought things would turn out as bad as they did. I always think back to the game at Exeter on the first day. I was thinking after 15 minutes that things just didn't seem right but kept telling myself not to be so stupid for making judgements so soon.Maybe that's a lesson to be learned going forward!
