    Salah - Contract extension

Salah has signed a contract extension at LiVARpool.

    Another 2 years.

I have to say I'm quite surprised at this to be honest.

    What are your thoughts Rag?

Has he used Saudi interest to push through a wage increase etc. If so, how will this sit within the Saudi football boards/culture?

Only plus I guess, is if they have come to his wages that he wants then it'll impact their ability to offer the wages needed for Isak even if they had an offer accepted.

I@m guessing a chunk of TAA's wages are going to pay for this extension.

    I'm astonished!

Majed al Sorour will be raging! They had a verbal that it was a done deal Salah will be at Al-Nasr next season.

I guess Liverpool had to break the bank when they realised Isak wasn't interested in joining them,

The obviously realised that they couldn't afford to replace Trent, Salah & VVD in the same window.

So, they've kicked the can down the road for 2 yrs. I guess Salah will sign for AL Nasr next season on a transfer fee, promised Liverpool 1 more season.

VVD's deal is supposed to be in the mix too. That one makes less sense, he's started to show his age, making mistakes and a he's lost his pace.

Regardless Nothing can stop NUFC's rise to prominence.
