    Looking towards the 25/26 season

It's fair to say the 24/25 season has been a massive flop.
I was quite amenable to the 2nd coming of Evans. The Cardiff thrashing on the last game of last season, the no nonsense transfer approach assembling what looked like a very capable squad of players and who can forget the nostalgia of the previous tenure? I started out feeling very optimistic.
Unfortunately Evans couldn't find that same magic formula this time around and has paid the price.
I will say no more on this subject out of respect for what the man has done before.
So what will 25/26 have in store?
Whether it be Hammy or someone else we will start with a new manager again, It's the centenary year of the club so understandably we would like something to celebrate. It's fair to say the squad will definitely have an entire new look come August. Players running down contracts and leaving, loanees returning to their parent clubs. The squad is going to need a full overhaul again but will the new manager get the funds required to make us competitive? I doubt season ticket sales will reach the 7k they supposedly are this season.
Its really hard to picture how next season might look right now but I'm guessing in true RUFC fashion it will be another roller coaster ride.

Probably will be hamshaw and folks expectations will be that what they had with warne.
Big difference is warne worked with a lot of his team before he took over as manager and the players he was retaining were the better players of the squad.
Hamshaw will be loosing the better players and will need another 10 players to make a half decent squad.
Priority should be one last push to get odoffin and Humphrey to reconsider signing. Yeah I know it's a very long shot but don't ask you don't get.

I don't think we'll get them to sign but we've got a much better chance than we had this time last week!
