    Piroe

The media circus are clambering for piroe to be dropped as he has been ineffective for the last 5 games, very true but who else is there, a woeful gnonto, a headless Joseph who blasts every shot over the bar, or an injury prone bamford who hasn?t played all season, thanks to whoever in the transfer window we remain without a so called main striker, strange how we?ve scored so many goals though this season.

Piroe is a conundrum in that on song he scores goals and is creative at other times the game seems to pass him by and not sure I?ve seen him win many challenges for the ball in the air.

Striker is another position most of us think we should have strengthened

The phrase 'the whole is greater than the sum of its part' suggests that the combined value or effect of something is more than the sum of its individual parts.

In team sports the primary focus is on achieving a collective goal through teamwork, strategy & coordinated efforts rather than a players individual achievements, for starters.

As a 'collective performance' the outcome of a game depends on the collective performance of the team, not just individual brilliance.

With that in mind Piroes problem is 'flow'.
When hes mentally fully & completely immersed in what hes doing his physical performance is heightened as was the case at Swansea & intermittently with us.
Matching skill level & task difficulty can be particularly tricky in a team or group setting where you have individuals of varying skill levels & experience as is the case at Leeds presently.

When we 'flow as a team' we are unplayable but the parked bus scenario reverts us into a team of individuals with plenty of flair but no momentum to put said recognised individual flair into place.

I do believe we had our eyes on specific player targets to introduce the missing parts that we required but for whatever reason deals never got over the line.

So as a 'whole club collective' one would assume that the powers that be above Farke need to have fingers firmly pointed at, particulary after Wembley last season, imo.

My mates in Leeds noticed this month that Firpo is now driving a Spanish plated left hand drive new Porsche which may also suggest 'parts' of our team are focused elsewhere too.

But the parts either have to fit together or the system and therein lies the run Farke seems poor at that.

I rare he criticised Ramazani at the end of the Luton game too - way to go Daniel picking on young players yet again.

He is a numpty and Todd Cantwell and Russel Mattin were right 🤣

Reprimand or criticise & pointing out an issue required different meanings.
Farke always puts arms around shoulders immediately after games giving feedback to players, focusing on areas for improvement, which is crucial for player development & team success as it allows for quick learning & adaptation. Done cos players are more receptive to feedback when its fresh in their minds, so allowing them to connect actions with outcomes into making adjustments

Heres why I am gonna disagree with you, good coaches who actively engage in post-game discussions demonstrates a commitment to player development for starters.
My brother gets it at half-time & after full time every game, the club even has a camera on him at home games for the full 90 too, set up behind the goal.
Any follow on comments provide concrete examples of what went well & what could be done better, he doesn't always agree but he does take on board what is said & work on aspects pin pointed.

Take it or leave it, but thats my opinion & to be fair lack of fullbacks, play maker & pure goalscorer & an inspirational leader on the pitch have been our achilles heel for far to long & those areas lacking must be frustrating for Farke with what hes had to work on courtesy of the board, imo.
Young player development is not ideal in a pressure cooker scenario, tho Sunderland are giving it a good go with a great Coach, but for us in our situation as a club its a far more demanding situation, imo.

I hasten to add that when on song piroe is calm and clinical and a very good striker, unfortunately the last 5 games he hasn?t been.

Should never criticise young players in public MT - he did it with Gnonto, Cresswell and now Ramazani.

At Norwich he almost broke Cantwell - v poor behaviour.

In terms of Piroe he is very talented but don?t know how he fits in this set up.

Piroe should play as a 9 only. Far too casual for any midfield role and can?t win a heading dual even if he was on his own. Play him up front only and he scores for fun - But only then if you are going to provide a supply. Possession around the back doesn?t do this so for me, it?s not necessarily a player thing but a management failure.

Piroe is great when you’re on top and the sun is shining and you’re playing well but when the games are tough and there’s a battle he is nowhere to be seen.

I’d honestly play Bamford ahead of Piroe right now as Bamford for all his failing as a finisher at least knows how to battle and use some dark arts to gain an advantage, Piroe just gets bullied and is then nowhere near the goal to give himself a chance of scoring as he’s too busy being tackled on the half way line

Farke said he would not comment anymore or criticise any players then rips Ramazini a new arsehole.

Piss poor in my opinion he should not say anything at all the players at the end of the Luton game looked visibly disappointed and the last thing they needed was any of em getting called out.
