    Patel

To be honest I was sceptical of him at first but liking him more all the time. His vision is first class and attending games when he lives in the USA should be applauded,

In a ruthless business world and yes Patel is successful and ruthless - difficult decisions need to be made like after the match today.

Patel wants a successful club and premier riches - what owner wouldn?t! It?s not just the dross of some of the players but the absolute shocking selections and subs by Mowbray in not just one crucial game of late but at least four. It?s unforgivable! Matt and 123?s posts were spot on!

Yes there will be the odd supporter who will be sad with the sacking but never seen so many seats empty today and before the whistle the majority had left. In a nutshell the majority of supporters voted with their feet.

A huge decision by Patel and the right one. As a savvy businessman he wouldn?t want to see the start of next season wasted. Like the majority of the supporters - Patel had seen enough today.

I have every confidence now in Patel and Nestor making the right appointment without rushing into one ie Mowbray.

Sincere best wishes Tony and hope you can now enjoy time with your family.

Good decision Patel and first class timing. Get the right manager in and hope the dross go very quickly!

Good post Al, my dad was at an event recently and was really impressed by him.

He took the time to speak to everyone that wanted to chat and was one of the last to leave.

On talking to him he was very keen to bring in young, fresh and hungry players with a point to prove. Also, he said he was very excited about Bany and thinks we will see big things drom him next season.

Like most of us I was hoping for a fairytale ending with Mowbray, a legend and lovely guy. However seeing that it clearly wasn't working was key so good to see Shilen do something now rather than wait any longer.

No idea who we can attract now but feel like we are a real opportunity of a club to rip everything up and start again whilst keeping a spine of core players.

    Onwards and upwards 🙌

I also agree with this. My thinking at the game yesterday was I'm sure we'll get Mowbray gone in the summer, but why wait? We might be able to sound people out now before they go on holiday. The extra week or two could be a big advantage, especially if that's what we're going to do anyway.

This season is done, don't see the point in subjecting a decent man in Mowbray with anymore animosity or toxicity with the fans. Lets move on.

3 points out of possible 18 at the business end of the season in simply not good enough. Only Preston has fewer 2
