    Our first kit

Back in 1925 newly formed Rotherham United chose their first kit. Amber shirt with big black V on the chest and white shorts. Not nice. I hope some bright spark in the club doesn't suggest bringing it back for the centenary. Wouldn't surprise me though.

Didn't they already bring that one back once as an away shirt?

EDIT: Yes, but not a V.

Why not have the v shirt?

Distinctive and not like a clone of others

It?s only for one season. It?s relevant. Will be a nice collectors piece and will bring some attention to us.

Still got the last all white shirt with gold print on it, still in the bag. We looked like Real Madrid at times going forwards and the French in retreat when we defended.

Better than the pre-merger Rotherham Town one.

Does anyone remember Arsenal wearing maroon for an entire season during their last season at Highbury? 2006 I think. They were their colours when Highbury was opened. Do you think we should do something as dramatic as that and play a whole season with a retro kit rather than the usual one game commemoration?
