According to one site Football Away Days on Facebook Burnley FC are now contacting individuals who have been identified as having run onto the pitch at the end of the game on 21 April to notify them that they have been given lifetime bans from Turf Moor. This is I know in line with statements the club have made on the occasion of previous pitch incursions. I do not approve in any way running onto the playing surface but I wonder if all individuals are being notified of lifetime bans or only those who are deemed to have done so with an aggravating circumstance.

Nottingham Forest Chairman Evangelos Marinakis to issue himself with lifetime ban for running on to the City Ground and confronting team manager on pitch. Won’t happen of course.
