    Arsenal v Newcastle United

    Team news
Arsenal will make a late decision on whether forward Kai Havertz, who hasn't played since the beginning of February because of a hamstring injury, will be involved against Newcastle.

Declan Rice, Leonardo Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Jurrien Timber, who have all trained this week, will also be assessed.

Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe says Joe Willock has "a slight chance" of returning against his former club after missing last weekend's win over Chelsea with a minor muscle injury.

Sven Botman, who has a knee problem, will be monitored but Kieran Trippier is likely to miss out with a calf injury, while Joelinton is sidelined with a knee injury.

    Match facts
    Head-to-head

Newcastle have beaten Arsenal three times this season ? once in the league and in both legs of the EFL Cup semi-finals. No side has ever defeated the Gunners four times in a single campaign.

However, the Londoners have lost just one of their past 20 Premier League home games against the Magpies, winning 17 and drawing two.

Newcastle could complete a league double over Arsenal for the first time since 1994-95 under Kevin Keegan.

    Arsenal

Arsenal are without a win in five league and cup matches, drawing two and losing three.

They are also winless in their last four home games in all competitions, losing the last two.

However, the Gunners have only lost their final home league game of the season once in the past 27 seasons, winning 22 and drawing four.

Mikel Merino's red card at Anfield last weekend was Arsenal's sixth in the Premier League this season, the most of any side.

William Saliba could make his 100th Premier League appearance.

The Frenchman could match Sol Campbell and Lauren's club record of 68 wins in their first 100 league appearances for the Gunners.

    Newcastle United

Newcastle have won eight of their last 10 league and cup matches, drawing one and losing one.

However, they've failed to win either of their past two away matches in the Premier League, losing at Aston Villa and drawing with Brighton.

Eddie Howe's side accrued their 20th Premier League win of the season against Chelsea last weekend, the first time they've won 20 or more games in a single campaign in the competition for 22 years since they picked up 21 victories under Sir Bobby Robson.

They haven't lost their final away league game in any of the last six seasons (W4, D2) since a 1-0 defeat at Tottenham in 2017-18.

Jacob Murphy has provided 12 Premier League assists this term, the most by a Newcastle player in a single top-flight season since Nolberto Solano accumulated 15 in 1999-00.

I won't be surprised at all if they put out a full strength team.

100% mate, they will be full strength. They have to really,

theres still an outside chance they might not qualify for the CL if results fall a certain way and that would be a shame

They have nothing else to play for. They've won nothing again this season. KO'd of every cup as they always are by this time.

I can see them playing really dirty and the Ref just letting them get away with it.

I'm of the same mind. They haven't scored goals against NUFC in any of the 3 matches against us this season.

They've only scored more than 1 goal in 2 of their last two home games and only 3 times in their last 7. Remove that 0-4 away win at Ipswich and they've proven rather toothless.

Heart says more of the same and a win.

Head says a draw. 1-1. They draw a lot of games and it would be an epic result.to get 4 wins against them in a single season.

Big Joe is a loss against these. Can't emphasise this enough but I am hoping Isak gives them a taste of what they are missing. Depends how many crocks from both teams make the starting 11s I reckon.
