Silly Season in full swing - Bruno to Saudi & Gordon to everyone

So the absolute steaming piles of BS begin.

I was atleast expecting things to stay bubbling along until after the final ball had been kicked on the season, but, no.

Apparently our owners want to sell our captain to the Saudi league... Some of the dumbest sh!t I've ever heard.

Bruno at the peak of his powers, as a full Brazilian international, the man who in his latest interview for Sky commented 'The League cup was the first, we're hungry and we all want more'. Doesn't sound like a guy who's going anywhere. "My sons are Geordies, even after my career, where ever I end up we will come back to this city because we love it.'

Who's the genius who came up with that one?.

I would assume it's the Poundland Bruno they've been speaking, the swamp dwelling filth merchant. Not Bruno Guimarães.

    Moving on...

    Gordon.

He had a stella season last season. Southgate absolutely disrespected him whilst away on England duty. Then the Liverpool transfer that never was really destabilised the young man. He had a baby so no doubt lost a lot of sleep. Not excuses but explanations.

Everyone makes mistakes. I don't think he's any different. The red card was unfortunate and bad timing. A few knocks and injuries meant he just hasn't been his fluid best this season as he was the season before.

The pure hatred I have for small minded muppets on social media is why I don't have an active Insta, Twitter or Facebook account. This is the only place I vent my spleen and interact with internet other than professionally.

Well despite everyone and his dog on the internet piling on the kid and saying how sh!t he is apparently, 3 of the biggest clubs in the country in Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all prepared to pay £80million for him.

    He must be sh1t.

It's fcuking ret@rded. How does it make sense that all of the top teams want him but he's not good enough for us? So dumb.

The only way I can see this being even 10% truthful is if the deal for Gittens is something isn't just paper talk and we're gonna bring him in. However, the kids' only 20 so we'd swap an 24 yr old England international with half a decade more experience in the Prem for a raw kid who's never seen Prem football.

Not saying Gittens isn't awesome. I'm sure he'll be a Worldie in 3-4yrs time. Also, I had a thought that Gittens would be an alternative for Mbuemo if the club don't want to pay the £54million transfer fee set by Brentford for the Cameroonian winger.

The other ongoing pile of horse dung.

    Isak wants out.

A man with a known groin injury, having his injury managed has been playing through the pain in the final push to secure Champions League football next season.

If he wanted out why would he risk failing a medical - Remember that rat Owen refusing to play to ensure he was fit to leave and join the filth? Yeah, exactly. Isak has sh1t on every report that he wants to leave, repeatedly commented that he wants to win with the lad and play UCL football again with NUFC. The club are preparing a new deal for him which will be signed to extend his contract with a bumper package to match the highest earners at the club.

It's clear that he's not interested in leaving that won't stop the lies. Eddie isn't happy about all the lies in the press and has started to become more vocal about it. Fair play to him. Its funny but despite Eddie making it clear with comments like 'We don't have any PSR restrictions this season. We're looking to build on our current quality, not let any of the quality leave.' Some how the liars in the media seem to have managed to twist his words into seemingly confirming that Eddie's packed Isak's bags and is ready to drop him off in north London personally.

mate i love silly season. Some of the crap that people come out with is comedy gold.

We all have our opinions of who we would like to sign but the truth is, anyone claiming to have an inside scoop is full of BS.

The club don't run like that anymore.

Its a big summer for Paul Mitchell, he has to deliver big time, before any departures are even considered, he needs to bag us

a GK, CB, RW, CM, ST at a very minimum. 3 first team starters at least and obviously the CM and ST will be rotation players.

Think we all can agree, we need freshening up and the most likely departures are

Wilson, Ruddy, Gillespie, Lewis, all end of contract

Vlachadimos, Longstaff and either Pope or Dubs will surely be next in line.

Im just waiting to get Sunday out of the way and see if we get CL football before i even think about who we might bring in

Agree with everything you said about T.

We'll have to see how Mitchell gets on. We all have to hope that he get's the job done to the standard we are all expecting.

Eddie's delivered on the pitch. We need the board to deliver off the pitch.

The vast majority of these rumours are pure fabrication by 'journos' looking for clicks.

Yeah, I know it's all click bait. I don't mind interesting click bait in which they've done some leg work, put together some stats and data that would kind of make some sense.

However, how it works with alot of these groups of papers, The Chronical is owned by 'The Reach group'.

Reach plc (known as Trinity Mirror between 1999 and 2018) is a British newspaper, magazine and digital publisher. It is one of the UK's biggest newspaper groups, publishing 240 regional papers in addition to the national Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, The Sunday People, Daily Express, Sunday Express, Daily Star, Daily Star Sunday as well as the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail and the magazine OK! Since purchasing Local World, it has gained 83 print publications.

So, some muppet hack in one of their local or national offices makes up a fake story about a transfer, then all the local drone reporters, like done ants regurgitate the same story over and over.

That's not journalism that barely creative writing. Reach Plc is an advertising company, it's revenue is garnished from the advertisements placed in it's print and online media. The stories are filler between the ads.

Once upon a time it was 'todays news is tomorrows chip papers'. Nowadays it's '11am's news is a fictional story.'
