I’m only working off a mobile phone until I get home but Google him mon ami. His reputation in Belgium was astonishing
, his videos were off the chart and he is a full Belgian international. I don’t know what happened to him once he arrived in East Lancashire but the move did neither him or the club any favours. The problem now is how to get shut without taking a massive .hit financially.

I read all about him when we signed him, Player of the Year in Belgium I think he was, he seemed to be the icing on the cake. He obviously has some sort of personality defect that we didn't pick up on, like a tendency to sulk for instance.

Maybe he was expecting Der Kaiser to come in for him at BM. He has talent, that is for sure.

The only good thing is that his value will have been written down by two years of the term of his contract. Even if we can’t get what we paid, it will be good to recoup the depreciated value at least.

There will be something genuine come to light that explains it. Something medical or a bizarre contract clause we agreed to in order to get him here. Clearly the club can't talk publicly about it.

Parker would not let him near the first team squad if he was sulking or refusing to play.

I would think it is pretty obvious that in the role of the employer Burnley Football Club cannot comment on an employee's health and wellbeing.

I would love to see the lad fit and well and firing on all cylinders.
