The Scottish Sun claims that the manager has chosen to return to Germany possibly to join Regensburg. No comment from the club so far.

If true (and I can’t see I even a rag like The Sun running a story like that if it isn’t) then it’s very disappointing. I thought we had a manager who would really produce a positive - and very different style - of football. I can only guess that he has either seen the style of play/standard of player here as unsuited to the methods/set ups he wants to introduce or his family isn’t going to move here and he wishes to be with them. And Regensburg is a very attractive town. I’d take Tony Docherty as a replacement.
